Welcome to one of Dayton's loveliest homes!

This home was designed to certain specifications by an architect for Mr. Richardson. He was a farmer and orchardist who owned land in downtown Seattle.

There is a covered wraparound porch at the front of the home, but the detail most noteworthy is the exquisitely beveled windows. About half of the beveling is also scalloped. They each have a scroll design, with many colors worked into the delicate flowers.

The Richardson Home has had only two owners in its history. The exterior of the home is virtually unaltered, and both the foundation and the property's retaining wall were built of Dayton black stone.
